1. My ladder is out of warranty can I buy replacement parts ?
- Yes replacement parts can be sent out: feet, rungs, beam and tips if needed.
2. Does this ladder meet NFPA standards?
- Yes meets NFPA 1931 and 1932.
3. Does this ladder need to be secured to the aerial once deployed?
- The design of the RESCUE PIT Ladder does not require to be tied off but we recommend a simple piece of webbing with a larks foot, 2 round turns and half hitch.
4. How much does the ladder weigh?
- 30 pounds.
5. Does the ladder perform as a straight ladder?
- Yes it does. The RESCUE PIT Ladder has a Detent pin allowing the ladder to lock out as a straight ladder which is rated to 750 pounds.
6. What's the difference between the RESCUE PIT Ladder and the ones currently on the market?
- The RESCUE PIT Ladder is a ONE OF A KIND Patented ladder. It can be used for roof operations, VES floors 1- 6, confine space, trench rescue, water rescue and heavy rescue.
7. Can you mount the RESCUE PIT Ladder on my aerial?
- Mount can be custom built as long as you send specs of your aerial where you would like it mounted.
8. Can you build a custom ladder any size?
-Yes as long as it fits in the standards of NFPA 1931.
